Fixes and updates are continuous, but what follows are the significant enhancements that have recently been made to the functionality and capabilities of Webroot SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection.

New:

  • Status Tab Useful Information Panels – The Status Tab now features 3 new panels covering threat information from the Webroot Threat Blog, direct links to different Help and Support information and News and Updates.

Updates:

  • Reset Agent Command – There was higher than expected CPU usage when this command was sent to an Agent on Windows Server Small Business Server 2011. This has now been addressed by updating the behavior of the Agent Command.

Status Tab Useful Information Panels

  1. Three new panels on the right hand side of the Status Tab dashboard. The first provides a direct feed from the Webroot Threat Blog. The second Help and Support links to the most recent Administrator Guide, Webroot Instructional Videos and the Support web page. The third News and Updates panel links to Webroot News, the Threat Blog web page and to release notes like this bulletin.

Reset Agent Command

  1. With Windows Small Business Server 2011 in both physical and VM configurations Agent Commands were causing unexpected spikes in CPU usage. Both the Reset Agent and general Agent Command processing have been updated to address this anomaly.
