Have android phone and Webroot for many many years. I am getting a message that I need to upgrade my mobile app because the one I am using is being retired. Is this for real?
I use Secure Anwhere CE22.2
I also can not log into my account - keeps saying my password is incorrect so I ask for a reset but NEVER sends a link. Worried my account has been hacke.
I have had the same problem w the password. They say it’s not correct but they never send me a link to reset it.
I finally found a topic that said you have to create a new account with the new company, which I did but I still do not see the info I saw with Webroot. Will I have to do this to my computers also? This is just stupid. Why did webroot not give us an email stating that they sold their business and what to expect! I am done with webroot. There are better options...Just have to find them lol
I wasn’t even aware Webroot had been sold. I’ve been getting the same update notification on my phone. The password I’m using is correct, and I think I know what my email is, so I’m not getting the update I guess. I’ve liked Webroot over the years, but I don’t like this at all.

Yes this is for real. Everyone on the older android version <6.0 will be upgraded to at least 6.0.
