Does Webroot protct against "goobface" worm?

As WSA protects aginst malware, which is the umbrella term for a number of nasties including worms, and because this specific worm has been around a while I would say 'Yes'.
But may I ask as to why you are asking?

The reason I ask is that I was infected with goobface a few weeks age while having Webroot active,
