After renewing the Webroot subscription, dashboard still shows “Subscription - Expired” . How do I know that I am getting the latest tool for malware scans and on? The Webroot still scans; it does not detect potential rootkits malware or others.

I would reach out to Webroot to ensure that your account has been actually renewed in their backend.
As for “the latest tool,” the agent automatically updates itself when new versions are pushed out so you should be good to go there.
