Hello from Michigan!
I am new here, and other than replying to Pug1988's message, I can't figure out where to ask a question other than start a new topic. I'm sure that's not the preferred way to do it. Would anyone be so kind to give me good instructions? I saw reply that said that on the home page there was an Ask a question button, but I didn't see it. Plz help. I have concerns with my laptops since I downloaded webroot, but not sure how to ask about it in the proper area.
That's out of the way, please allow me to introduce myself. I'm 46 mother of two and grandmother of two. I am currently unemployed, but was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility caring for mostly those who were long term residents, but I also worked with patients who would came for rehab before going home after staying in a hospital because of surgery or some type of illness that kept them there for a significant amount of time and/or they had nobody who was able to assist them at home until they gained their strength. Then I moved to the Memory Care/Assisted Living unit of the same facility where I was taking care of people with Alzheimer's and/or dementia. All my working years before that were spent working in an office doing AR, AP, basic clerical stuff. I'm hoping to find another position in an office that I will still be able to work within the medical field, but that isn't as back breaking work as being a CNA.
I'm somewhat computer savvy, but by no means a techie...though I do try, which sometimes gets me into trouble. With that being said, I thank everybody in advance for any help or advice that is given, especially when it's given in a way that someone who is not high, but no low tech, is able to understand and follow.
Cheers!
