i deleted my documents with webroot. How can get them back? Thanks Trudy
Hello ?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Do you have Back up & Sync with your version of Webroot? If so...

Check your Online Account Console

1. Open Backup & Sync

2.Look in Files/Folders

3.Look in the Activity Log and see if you can locate your files there.

As far as I know there is not a search for looking up a specific Files or Folders.

Look at the PC User Guide on Backup & Sync? HERE

Otherwise you could use a recovery program which I believe ? can advise. I have used some in the past for recovering photos and what not. Baldrick might be online later today.

EDITED: Here is a THREAD that might interest you.

Hope this helps!
Hi Tkbbell

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear about your issues. The key thing here is tthat you minimise you use of the system, i.e, minimise web browsing, installation of applications, etc., until you can assertain what you are going to do to try to recover the documents deleted.

As Sherry (thanks for the tag) has advised I can provide you with suggestions as to data recovery tools that you might try to use to get some of your data back, bit I have to say that the likelihood of geting it all back is minimal...but just how much you can recover depends on speed and minimal system use to minimise the chance of overwriting the space that the data occupied (and which it still does) but has now been flagged up as free.

Please private message me if you would like those suggestions.

Regards, Baldrick
