My computer is slow and jerky. Where should I look to remedy this situation?

Can you try looking in Task Manager (hold down Ctrl/Alt/Delete keys, and select Task Manager). And tell us what could be using a lot of CPU and RAM,if seen.
Is it just while browsing, or? Can you give us more details...any strange pop-ups etc?
