Installed WebRoot Secure Anywhere on my new laptop which already came with a courtesy McAfee Security Protection from where I bought it. Now McAfee is controlling my firewall. How do I change it to WebRoot? Appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi Frogdart
Welcome to the Community Forums.
The simplest solution is to try to turn off McAfee. If you can do that, and make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled (it may have been switched off as part of the McAfee install) then yo ushould find that Windows Firewall will take care of the inbound connection protection whilst a combination of WSA & Windows Firewall will deal with the outbound protection of connections.
Best approach would be to uninstall McAfee completely...but that may be fraught with issues so let us know if yo would llike to and we can provide guidance.

Thanks Baldrick! I deleted the McAfee LiveSafe program, went to control panel , security and firewall settings. Windows Firewall and WSA are protecting my new machine. Thanks!
