Those phone calls are a scam. I've had a few this weekend also with them stating they were from Microsoft and my computer was infected. Don't give them any information, just hang up.

If I could just add a little to ProTruckDriver's sound advice about scam calls, to say that I'm somewhat concerned to hear that you say you're getting infections that are being cleaned a lot.

When this happens, are they the same infections that are being repeatedly reported, or different ones?

 

If the answer is that they're different ones, then I'd recommend that you Submit a Support Ticket  and they will ensure that all is ok with your machine. The service is a free, additional part of your license.

 

If the reported infections are the same ones, then please post back with that info, or any questions. Thanks.

dont pay attention to these phony calls , there is nothing wrong with ur comp. if you agree to see whats wrong with ur comp with them they will tell you to hit a surton key and when you do they take over your comp and thenthey will infect it themself and then they tell you that to clean it you have to buy something from them and you dont its to late they will hold your comp hostage , so dont listen to that call agin ,
