Hello ?
Welcome to the Webroot Community.
That is not normal unless you're doing a custom scan and have selected "Full" scan instead of "Deep" scan.
You can learn about the differences between a Deep scan and Full scan in this KB Article.
If you could please do an uninstall/clean install of WSA that should take care of the problem.
Please follow the steps closely!
Thanks,
BD

- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again
Thanks,
BD
Thanks for the reply BD. I un-installed WebRoot and re-installed it. I checked and have set the scan preference to "DEEP". The scans are still taking over two hours to complete.??
Hello ?
Thanks for getting back to us. That certainly is not normal. Webroot is being slowed by something.
Have you added any large archives or backups to your hard drive, or possibly changed the configuration of your hard drive to "Compress the drive to save disk space"? Just a few ideas I thought of as to why this is happening, but I really can't say for sure.
I would suggest opening a trouble ticket and let support have a look so they can determine the cause.
Please let us know what they say. Your information will be useful to others who visit the Community and are having similar issues. :)
Thanks, and have a good day,
