Why can't I sign in on the Google tab?

Hi, I am pretty much a novice as far as computer skills go, but I do know how the sign-in should work. I can sign-in from my webroot console, it's just from the webroot tab on my Google bar. I keep getting an error message saying it doesn't recognize the e-mail address, even after I sign in on the console with the same info. Wierd, to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
