or install CCleaner and clean up your computer once.

you can get CCleaner here.

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I would recommend that you do a a unistall/clean reinstall. To see if Webroot is the cause of your PC slowing down. This won't take long to do. Below are instructions for a Windows PC. If you have a Mac then let us know because Webroot ihas a different installer for the Mac.

 Please following the instructions below.

  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a copy here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click here)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if so offerred by the installer; you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

Let us know if this resolvess your issue or not.

Thanks,
