Windows Defender
This software ended up in the webroot icon. I clicked on it and it started to scan all my files from off line. It took 2 and half hours. The next day it was gone????? Anyone experience this?

Hello,
I assume your using Windows 10? If so when Webroot SecureAnywhere is installed Windows Defender can be set to do Periodic Scanning but you can turn it off if you wish by following the steps in the picture below.
