Subscription Renewal

Hi, I have used webrrot for 5 years or more and I was just going to renew my internet securtiy complete, but is is $99 aussie dollars, about 20 more than just buying it again, so I started shopping around and it can be purchased far cheaper elsewhere and on top of that products like bitdefender and kaspersky are less exspensive to just buy a new copy of.  I am wondering before I jump ship does anyone knows of anywhere reputable to purchase a renewal at a  reasonable price.    Last time my renewal came up I chatted with a community rep who gave me an awesome multi year deal at a good price, but that chat option does not see to be available any longer and jumping through hoops everytime I renew and buy a new sub and having it changed over to my current account for password manager is sort a annoying.   I asked this question also on twitter a few days ago but not heard back, so sort of wondering if webroot cares about old custome

Constant connection popups

So I dont know if this has been brought up but my antivirus started constantly asking to allow anything to connect. Open explorer popup. Open netflix popup. Open steam poput etc... etc....Its really annoying. Ive tried changing settings and still does it. Can somebody please help me get rid of this issue. Or is this a bug of some sort. Also added picture of the constant popups.

Notification won't clear after scan.

Secure Anywhere has a notification on my Android phone that says "You may be at risk Current scan out of date" So, I press on the notification, it opens Webroot, I do a scan, it finds nothing. But the notification does not go away. It was been stuck like this for a couple days now. I have tried restarting the phone. Clearing the cache of the app. I guess the next step would be an uninstall and reinstall. Any suggestions?

Account Problem - Error(UCXS511):Your account has been logged out

I can login but when I select a console, I get logged out with this message: Error(UCXS511):Your account has been logged out Is this Webroot or is it just me?

Can Not Log into Webroot Password Manager???

Have Webroot SecureAnywhere - Internet Security Plus and Firefox 61.0.2 (64-bit) for a browser because there hasn't been a fix yet for the Password Manager that works in Firefox. Yesterday both my wife and I could log-in and access our sites and passwords just fine. Today it goes yellow and says 'An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your Internet Connection.' I am able to log-in to the Community and my.webrootanywhere.com using their log-ins with no problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. By the way when is Webroot going to fix the Firefox Password Manager Tool Bar so we can upgrade to the latest Firefox!?!? We have only 57 days left on this subscription. Just sayin'.

Persistent Status not showing in mobile app

I had to install my app a couple times due to it showing me that I needed to do a security scan. After numerous scans I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app. This made the issue go away but now I find a new one. I keep getting the shield notification on my status bar as well as a dot on my app, meaning it needs my attention. Everything is in order and I have "fixed" once more all the issues that needed attention and yet it still shows me the notification. My notification says "No problems detected", I assumed it had something to do with the persistent status after a small research but that option is missing! I opened, closed, opened, restarted phone, still nothing. I have gone into General settings and I only see "Support Options" Nothing about "Persistent Status" underneath or around it. For now I'm just turning off all notifications from the app because at this point it feels like an eyesore. Is this an issue with the free version? I will upgrade to give extra protection

The webroot notification shield continually has a yellow warning that my scan is out of date but the app shows everything is up to date and fine

Password Manager for Android

Hi, I am a Webroot newbie, just getting up to speed with password management on Android.  I just wanted to confirm whether I am missing something, because from what I can see the usability set-up for Android seems very poor. I took out WebrootSecureAnywhere-Internet Security Plus for 5 devices/3 Yrs for anti-virus cover PC/Mac/Android Mobile/iOS mobile devices and to have frictionless Password Management across these devices.  To date I have installed WSA on the PC (Huawei Matebook) and an Andriod Mobile (Xiaomi Mi 😎. The Anti-Virus set-up on both looks great. On the PC the Password Management looks ok (after I turned off Google PWM). On Andoid the Password Management looks quite poor.  Everything I have read states that on Android the SecureWeb browser must be used. However I use many retailer apps - its significantly more convenient than browsing and I am able to organise them into the folders as I wish. I cannot do this with the SecureWeb browser - I have to o

My phone always has a "software pending. Waiting for Wi-Fi connection" in my notifications when pulled down. My phone is set to download over either network... Data or Wi-Fi. Any thoughts??

Not running full scan

Hello I am.writing because my secure anywhere app which is registered doesn't seem to be completing it's scan when I hit scan now button even after I see scan out of date, it used to have a sliding bar at the bottom that would go across until complete and now it goes 1 mm if that then says all is fine?, it never seems to complete anymore and I'm curious why?. Device Maintenance Issue Samsung 7

HI all, Having an issue with Device Maintence on my Samsung 7. Keeps telling me since the newest Verizon/Android update that SecureAnywhere is overloading the system. The phone is draining battery very fast and getting hot on a random 3-4 hour basis. I have done the following: checked for latest updates for both the phone and webroot, and uninstalled and reinstalled webroot. Please let me know if you have a solution.

NordVPN clash with SecureAnywhere

I recently installed NordVPN on both my GalaxyS7 and my PC. I recently realized that SecureAnywhere was not even running and crashed multiple times on my phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled but when I went to scan for viruses the Error Code 1011 came up stating "Limited or No Connectivity" Once I disconnected from the VPN the scan ran correctly. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this? I opened a chat with NordVPN yesterday and the guy told me he didnt use antivirus software so he couldn't relate to my issue....

Android Scan for Viruses Returns Instantly With Scan Complete

When I scan my pixel 3 using webroot by clicking the "Scan for Viruses" button, I see a progress bar that says "scanning" very briefly and then it almost instantly goes to "Scan complete" with "no threats found". I have scanned many times before and this is unusual. When I logon to the webroot site, I can see that it thinks my phone needs attention. It says the current scan is out of date. I uninstalled/reinstalled and have the same issue.

Crazy Bizarre Experience accessing Google Play Store Website with Windows 10 PC Running WSA Complete

My Android phone and Android tablet have the bad Webroot v.5.5.4.36995 update. I've been monitoring the situation here in the Community and also at the Google Play Store Webroot Mobile website which I access with my Windows 10 desktop PC. Nothing unusual ever occurred during the many days of the bad update saga. But today at the Webroot Mobile Android Play Store web page accessed with my PC, suddenly without warning or notice of any kind, something caused McAfee Security Scan Plus to be installed on my PC and it automatically ran a security scan!!!!!!!! BIZARRE. I took screenshots and can post them here if necessary to prove my claim. I checked my PC's Windows list of installed software and the McAfee is listed, and the desktop shortcut it installed points to C:\Program Files\McAfee Security Scan\3.11.968 I also examined the Webroot Mobile for Android web page, and there wasn't any mention or link to any McAfee anything. Also, the WSA Complete for Windows running on my PC didn't do

Webroot Mobile Security Complete

With the recent battery drain issues I uninstalled Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile from my Google Pixel 3 and my Samsung Galaxy TAB S2 4G. I have installed the beta version on both devices and the the Pixel 3 is listed is Mobile Security in My Web Console and TAB S2 is not listed. I have reinstalled a couple of times, including wiping the cache partition before a reinstall. The TAB S2 is a SM-T815Y running Android 7. Any ideas please?

Day 4 and my passwords are still missing and WR can't do anything nor LastPass

It's been 4 days since I reported my passwords are missing from the transition from WR/LastPass to the LastPass interface. WR support says they can't help and LastPass won't let you speak with anyone, the only thing you can do is log a ticket. My ticket has said "Pending" for 4 days now. I am speechless. Is there anything anyone can do to help?

Bad Computer Slowdowns When Connected over a VPN

We do lots of work with remote networks that use a VPN for connection. I've noticed that when we do utilize a slower VPN, the PC performance goes to crap. Everything, even the simplist things such as right-clicking a file, or opening an RDP file take extra long, but it almost seems a bit random. If I shut-down WebRoot protection, performance returns. I can only assume WebRoot is trying to route traffic through the VPN, but the fact that there's such a slowdown, just simply because the network connection is poor is a bit concerning for me. Is there any way to tell WebRoot to either delegate to the base network connection, or potentially hold off on much of it's network activity when a VPN app or network connection is established?

SecureAnywhere has Stopped pop up on Android

I keep receiving a pop up on my Android phone saying SecureAnywhere has stopped. Phone is an HTC 10 running Android 8.0.0 and SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete. My choices are Open app again or Send feedback. If I choose open app again the pop will come back in about 10 seconds. I've been running Webroot and this phone for a couple of years now and never had a problem. The pop ups started just a couple of days ago. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
