Sorry, but again multiple issues: some still unresolved from last contact here . #1: Cannot access console.“Error(SEL004): Console cannot be opened, please contact Webroot support”When I log into “My Account” , suggests I have 19 PCs protected !!#2: Webroot literally vanished from one of my PCs some time  in the last couple of weeks.Not sure what precipitated this event.Empty Webroot Folder in ProgramsNo  WRCore or WRData folders.Pretty comprehensive uninstall !!So:Reinstalled.Same base line settings as other my PCsNow hyperlinks in Emails disconnect the internet and will not load.Outlook will not receive.No bookmarks will load: Internet disconnects “ Cannot load Page : Check Connections etc etc”Disabling Webroot =  fully functional Outlook and Ethernet connection. #3: I never had an answer as to why a scan quarantined a multiple Domai

While browsing in the website “The Conservative Treehouse” I repeatedly keep getting pop-up warnings, supposedly from Webroot, that it has blocked the following website as a suspected phishing site: “safebytetech.live”. Can anyone advise about this?

I have rather a lot of questions for Webroot support. That said, the main way to ask is to do so through their console. When I sign in, I continuously get an error message to contact support...which is why I am trying to sign in here to do...so it is a rather cruel cycle. Any insight?

Okay, so this morning when I tried to log into account.webroot.com, it says an error occured whuile processing your request. Anyone else? What is with all the website problems and changes lately?

Every time I go to log in WiFi security I have to get a new password.  I have done this several times.  Why does the system not remember my pass word.  I am trying to put WiFi security on a new computer now.  I have a pass for 5 computers.  I cannot get logged in because of this pass word issue.  Thankyou.

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the console this morning? I logged in to check the scan log. It wouldn’t open and I got this message: Error(SEL004): Console cannot be opened, please contact Webroot support. I did put in a support ticket. I just want to see if anyone else is having this experience. I tried both Chrome and Edge and another computer.

I uninstalled the offending apps and all is well now.  I just ran Webroot and from the PC Security screen it says it is infected. The offending malicious files are Hidemouse.exe and Password.exe How do I clean it?

Hi Webroot CommunityI was wondering if anyone else has noticed WSA not always being recognised as the Default Virus and Threat Protection App in Windows 11.I was looking at the Windows 11 Security Centre and noticed the PC had reverted to Windows Defender as the Default Default Virus and Threat Protection App.The other thing I have noticed is on Bootup the Security Centre takes a couple of Minutes to Decide the Default Virus and Threat Protection App.I did a fresh install of Windows 11, and  WSA was the first app I installed and Windows Security took a couple of minutes to acknowledge WSA.Kind regardsSXR6 

Hi Webroot CommunityI was wondering if anyone else has had an issue when they sign out of Windows 11 and try to sign back in the Keyboard does not work?I am running Windows 11 25H2, did a full system reinstall and a couple of settings I change you are asked to Sign out and Sign in for the changes to be applied. I did this prior to reinstalling Webroot and no issues.I changed one more setting and was asked to sign out which I did but when I tried to sign back in the Keyboard was not working.The Apple Magic keybaord with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad is connected via q Lightning to USB Cable,The Keyboard has a power switch which I worked out if you turn off and back on the keyboard works again.I have no other issues with the Keyboard and was wondering if anyone else may have experienced something similar?RegardsSXR6

I would like to request a re-review for two websites: antiracistusa.org moroccancam.com These domains have been flagged as malicious, however after thoroughly reviewing the sites and their content, I can confirm that there are no malicious scripts, harmful activity, or policy violations present.This incorrect classification negatively impacts the credibility of the websites and affects our business operations. We kindly ask that you please review the sites again and remove the malicious report if possible. 

I keep having the search engine “soccer” automatically install as my default browser.  I have reset my default browser many times to a different search engine, but it keeps coming back.  I have deleted it completely from the list of my browsers but it keeps coming back.  I scanned my computer for viruses etc and nothing was found.  I also got in contact with Webroot support and they scanned my computer but found nothing too.  Please help.  I am on Windows 11 and I usually use Google as my search engine.  This has been VERY annoying.

I've noticed that the macOS version doesn’t appear to flag/detect script malware. Is that because Webroot only flags self contained executables? If a script file were to be executed in a browser, would Webroot detect it? The script files in question are located on the Objective-see.com web-site.

Can you explain how the version number convention should be interpreted? For example, 9.7.4.8:1759: Does the last number signify a definition update? How does one know if these versions signify a major update?

I had Geek Support LLC clean my PC as requested by my Financal Institution. After the cleaning I noticed my History was still there ? Shouldn’t it been removed during the cleaning ? I paid for the service by on line check. Have I been scammed ?

It has recently come to my attention that our domain has been marked as having a Malware/Antivirus check marked against it and I'd like to get this false positive entry removed from your database as we are a legitimate company operating under Australian Consumer Law.We provide private bloody testing services for Australians backed by NATA Accredited labs in Australia. Has anyone experienced the problem of NOT BEING ABLE to scan a flash drive from File Explorer with Windows 11 ? If so, what was the solution.

After installing the latest version of Webroot in my Windows 10 machine, there are bits and pieces of the download remaining in my Download File and normally I delete these for other programs I’ve downloaded.   But in the case of Webroot, a remaining installation file won’t delete from the download.   Any suggestions?
