Hello, I'm using Firefox 58.02 (64 bit). Up until the last few days, the password manager has worked just fine. Now, all of a sudden, when I try to log in to the manager it either says it can't contact the server or it says nothing at all and just never logs me in. This is happening in Firefox on multiple computers. The manager works just fine in Chrome.
I purchased webroot secureanywhere complete. I downloaded the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete app for my android. I have entered my email address, password and keycode associated with my laptop subscription. I continually receive an error that says this "Your user credentials are not associated with this SecureAnywhere Complete keycode. Make sure you've created this user on my.webrootanywhere.com and try again." The keycode I entered IS associated with the email address and password i entered. The keycode i entered is the exact keycode shown in my "manage keycodes" section of my online account. Why isn't it recognizing it?? Please help
We are deploying Webroot to our clients and have been running into an issue with users unable to login at a certain point. After testing we found it has to do with Webroot being installed on there but we cant figure out what is causing the issue and we've had to remove Webroot. This seems to only be affecting Server 2008 R2 environments.
Hello, I recently discovered that the gradually increasing size of my dive image files and decreasing SSD capacity were directly attributable to an enormous SecureAnywhere WRData folder. I contacted support and received the following response: “To start it fresh you can uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere normally and then delete the WRData folder and restart your computer, then reinstall Webroot and there will be a new WRData folder.” I completed all steps as instructed. Between my November 20, 2013 reinstall and this post, the WRData folder has grown from a few megabytes to over 2.6 gigabytes. In comparison, the 2 day old and still growing WRData folder is roughly 4 times the size of all of my Norton Internet Security files/folder combined. The above noted : Is this normal for the WRData folder or do I have a problem? Is there a way to reduce the number and/or limit the size of the database files in the WRData folder? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
Is it possible to exclude certain folders from scanning? Thank!
Ok...want to switch to Webroot from Trend Micro but unless I get this issue resolved it won't happen. The computer seems to freeze up to the point where the mouse runs at a crawl for about 5 mins. Now 1 cause at least seems to happen when I open Task Manager. Prior to install it would open in about 2 seconds. Now it takes 20-30 seconds and Task Manager process itself is running at about 23% CPU for that time. I then can barely move the mouse most of the time or do anything else on the PC. notice the Task Manager icon is blue rather than green so does that mean that Webroot has taken control of Task Manager? I added Task Manager itself as an exception to Allow but it seems to make little difference. Absolutely ruined a presentation I was running the other day. Turn off Realtime and Web Shield and it opens fine. What can I do to resolve?
Webroot failed to update its threat definition. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. You can continue your scan with the current definition set or cancel. Error: OutOfMemoryError processing def update. Continue or Cancel. Also, DEFINITION UPDATE FAILED. Network error attempting to access the Webroot servers. Please ensure your device is connected to the Internet. Also, Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile Premier (process com.webroot.securing full) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. DEFINITION SET 330. Version 2.9.0.3559. Is somebody know what to do??? The HELP recommended to post on FORUM to get E-mail from MODERATOR to send collected system data from phone for tech support. Or may be it would be solved by itself??? For example, via updates?? But how come, the updates fail to be installed?

Webroot is actively working to address the issues with the Webroot Mobile Security & Antivirus app and again apologizes for any inconvenience you may be experiencing. So far, our QA testing indicates the 5.5.5 beta version shows improved app performance and reduces device resource usage significantly. We want to release an update as soon as possible but we have yet to complete a full QA cycle. This is where you can help. If you're able, please head over to our beta signup page to request access. After completing the steps, you'll be able to download one of the beta builds as we'd love to hear your feedback while we continue our internal dev and QA work. Again, this isn't mandatory nor the official release but receiving real-world feedback will greatly expedite the official update.
Dear Webroot for MAC users, Later this month, Apple will release a new version of macOS, macOS 10.15 Catalina. We’re working closely with Apple to ensure our software is compatible with macOS 10.15 and plan to have an update in the coming weeks. Until then, upgrading your device to macOS 10.15 will prevent Webroot from functioning properly as it is not compatible. We will inform you when it is safe to upgrade your macOS. I think you are blocking Bethesda forums and I can't find anything newer than one year old to instruct here how to check this. None of your pages have the current information on them and I can't see how to check if you are blocking them or not. Really special that you change stuff but you don't bother on updating the customer instructions. :@ Why is this? Where exactly to look to see if you are blocking them or not??!! -edited- clarity
Hello, Webroot says com.android.mms is a threat "threat found". When I try to remove the threat it fails. It fails because it tries to units tall "messenging app". Please assist. Thanks
Anyone know if the wrdata folder can be cleaned out or deleted? It grows to an enormous size over time.
This statred happening last week and now has become a bit annoying. Is there a way to stop the dialog box from popping up in the Notification area in Windows 8.1 at boot up. I'm having to click the X to make it go away each time. Thanks for any input. __________________________________ And I did submit a support ticket but they suggested reinstalling the program ... :8
Enabling Webroot Filtering Extension causes safe "green padlock" sites to report a message that states "this page includes other resources that are not secure". This image should explain everything.
I am an old PrevX customer that was suddently changed over to WSA without any warning. I was not happy about that, but I decided to forget it, and give WSA a chance. A few weeks ago WSA installed a browser add-on without any warning, without notifying me, without asking me, and without explaining what the add-on is or what it does. I have paid numerous security companies over the years to protect my pcs, but I will say this about WSA, they sure have some balls. They do whatever they want without asking, and if you don't like it, they could not care less. Either you accept it, or go elsewhere. No apologies, no explanation, and no contact. I've never seen another company that handled business in this manner, and for years PrevX protected my pcs and never once did anything out of hte ordinary like this. PrevX never left me feeling like I didn't know what was going on with my own pcs security. Now, onto the problem brought about by this new add-on. Every browser, and every PC
I've recently been having a lot of hassle with Webroot causing my Windows 7 PC to hang/lock-up when I exit my preferred games software (CMx titles from Battlefront.com). All of the titles are now allowed in my Webroot settings (which had cured earlier incidences of the problem with a single title), yet the problem now persists with all of them. When I exit the game the software hangs, Ctrl,Alt & Del allows me to end the task, but the game .exe remains visible in task manager. Taskkill commands fail as they do not see a running instance of the .exe despite it being visible in Tasklist. Reliablility and non interference with my gaming was why I switched to Webroot in the first place and as my licenses are due for renewal soon, it's likely to be why I switch again unless someone can point me toward a cure for this irritating issue. In hope, all the best Andy S.
Hi! I hope you can help me. After scanning the internet I cannot seem to find any help for my problem. Here goes. I installed Webroot many months ago and had a six month antivirus protection after buying my computer from Best Buy, About a month ago it stopped working. I could no longer open the program. I thought it had expired, so I renewed it, tried installing again and it wouldn't work. I can't remember exactly what it was doing, but if I remember correctly, it wouldn't accept my new key code. After being frusrated and trying many things, I returned my renewal and uninstalled what I could from my computer of Webroot. However, when I restarted my computer recently, a box came up and asked if I wanted Webroot to make changes to my hard drive. Obviously something is still there. I went looking and found WRSA in my programs files. It does not show up in programs where I can uninstall it. If I try to dele
Webroot keeps asking me for full desk access over and over. I check my system preferences to make sure it’s checked and it is. I even removed it from the list and added it back again. It will start scanning for a few minutes and the Systems Preferences window pops up again. I have uninstalled and redownloaded the app several times and it still keeps asking me for full disk access. Thanks for any help! Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 Internet Security Plus
I own two PCs, both running Windows 10 and both protected by Webroot SecureAnywhere. Starting sometime earlier today, about once an hour Windows is displaying a notification that both my antivirus software and Windows Defender are turned off, and I need to turn one or the other back on. At the same time, I can see the green Webroot icon sitting in the Notification Tray, indicating that Webroot is alive and well and protecting my PC. When I visit the Security section of the Security and Maintenance control panel, it tells me that Webroot SecureAnywhere is active and everything is OK. This seems to indicate that it's the notification that's bogus and my protection is fine, but it's becoming annoying, since I'm getting this warning on average once an hour. Oddly, my second PC, also running Windows 10 and Webroot, doesn't have this issue. Is anyone else seeing this? I know I can turn off those notifications in Windows, but I'd rather not do that, since, t
Hi , I installed firefox 40 . also webroot web filter is active , but show it have some problem . Regards , Amir
Hi, Guys Another problem with either my understanding of Complete or maybe the program itself. Yes, I read the other 3 page thread on my issue but found no help. I decided to post a new thread for myrequest since the other thread looked to have become rather convoluted. In short, the website red/green indication does not show up on either a Google or Bing search. This is in both IE and Firefox, both updated. Google is a HTTPS search so I would expect it to not show based on the info in the other thread but Bing is HTTP in both browsers so should give indication of a web site's safety of lack thereof. No such luck with my install of Webroot Complete. I have tried turning the feature off and back on with no results -- the action is the same. I have Malewarebytes Pro running as well as Windows Security. There is no other security or maleware software installed on this new machine. It is an ASUS laptop running Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. Phil
