I just purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete 5 Seat 1 Year Subscription and I setup the PC. I can login to the website from my PC. I downloaded https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webroot.security.complete per the instructions. First screen to login fails every time. If I login from the web browser of my phone I get to my account but not through the app. Please help.
Hello, I am new to the board and I just downloaded Webroot on my Kindle Fire which seems to work quite well. However, when I try to locate my Kindle, (just checking the app out), via my home computer, it never gives me a Google map! I can lock it, and make it scream but I can't seem to get the locate to work. Obviously, the Kindle Fire only has a W-Fi connection and, I live in a remote area...could that be the reason I can't locate the kindle? Thanks to all!
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII (Android) and downloaded Secure Anywhere and Secure Web for security protection. The installation went fine and the security protection seems to be working well. However, I have experienced a significant battery drain since the installation and wonder if it is related to, or caused by, the Webroot installations. Parenthetically, I did note CatB's comments about this in her thread, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
I have recently resubbed to Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete 5 Seat 1 Year Subscription International and installed the mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Looking in my web console and the phone number for my mobile is incorrect. When I bought my phone (at Christmas) I had the number changed to my previous phone number, but it's the number that it shipped with that's being used by Webroot. How do I change this? Unless I can do so the lost phone feature will be useless :( Thanks in advance.
Hi all, I just recently upgraded to WSA Complete from WSA-AV. I am trying to activate the complete version on my Kindle Fire HD, and I keep getting the "Invalid keycode" error. I have checked the internet connection, and the email address, password and keycode, and all are typed correctly. Any advice? Shran 😃
I have the secure anywhere complete on my HTC EVO 4G using the android 2.3.5 system. Everytime I try to use secure web to go anywhere on the internet it goes to a blank page and thats it. I uninstalled then re-installed the webroot app on 3/14/12 and it worked for 2 days then quit again. Everything was working fine until I did the last update just over a week ago. Any ideas?

I recently got the samsung galaxy s4 and previously had the motorola razr. I went onto the website to delete the razr. I still have the same phone number. I tried to login to the webroot anywhere mobile app but an error pops up saying that my phone doesnt have internet and later on says invalid key code. I checked everything and its all correct. How to I fix this so I can put the webroot security on my s4
Using a Droid X on Android 2.3.3, running no other AVs I'm getting the error that "Login failed. the email or password is incorrect" I have the right email address in (not the default@gmail) and i've typed the password with the swype keyboard, the default keyboard, and copy/paste from a notepad app. I have submitted a ticket for this, but I thought I'd check with the forums to see if there was a quicker way to get this up and running. Thanks
I downloaded the app for my NextBook Android, but when I try log in, I am getting an error for the password or login, the email is correct, I changed it from the gmail to my real address the security code goes in with caps, but my email shows it in caps. my password is correct, but it still will not work no matter how many times I try to put the info in. I double checked that I have the correct email, correct password and the correct keycode, but it still keeps telling me I have the wrong password or login.
Hi, I'm an happy recent user of S8+:D But Webroot Secure web browsing does not work:@ "This function is unavailable. Your device is currently incompatible with webroot's secure browsing.":@ I'm very surprised because my smartphone is one of the latest ? Thanks
The latest push of a software update on Android devices has issues that need to be fixed. Immediately after installing the Error Message "WEBROOT has Stopped Working" kept popping. which I needed to manually restart the app.....also the webroot shield in the top upper status line on the phone kept disappearing...ischeck my settings and I did have it set to "display constant protection.....but even when the program would not stop which it did 8 times in the first 4 hours after install the shield would disappear. Things I have tried. 1) Rebooted the phone( Samsung Galaxy Note 3).....did not work. 2) Hard Rebooted the phone.....did not work 3) Unistall Webroot Secure Anytime Paid Service and reinstall it..........did not work. This needs to be fixed !!!!!! On a different note - what is going on at Webroot ? I mean WTH folks? The last three software issues has had problems.... you folks have not had a clean release in a while a
I currently have 3 devices protected under the mobile security tab. I no longer own 2 of them. Is there a way to remove them from the tab so I can add new devices? The only other time I've been able to remove devices is by contacting customer service. Kind of a pain, becuase their system has changed. You used to be able to just send an e-mail and they would remove a device. Now you have to call them and start a trouble ticket. Plus when you click on the "Contact Us" link it redirects you here or to another site that is even less helpful.
Does anyone know if webroot antivirus and security app for android scans your gmail emails or any other type of emails that could be dangerous. If not i think updating the app with that type of security would be a genius idea.
With the Webroot Secure call blocker, the phone rings ONCE and THEN the call gets blocked. However, with my previous app (Easy Filter Call and SMS Blocker by Moonbeam), the phone does NOT ring at all. When will this be fixed? -------- (Latest update of Android on Xperia Pro)
I just installed Webroot into my laptop, but I need it on my smart phone and Kindle. I don't know how to do that. Any suggestions?
Hi, I installed Webroot SecurAnyhere (WSA, 5 units) on another mobile phone. The new device appeared in my WSA web console after some minutes, but with the wrong phone number +491 (760) 000-0000 (just the country code +49 is ok, as I am located in Germany). Moreover, this wrong number was set in the mobile phone as primary number! So I tried to correct the number with "edit" in the web console, but even trying many formats, on saving I always end with the error message "No valid country code / No valid phone number". I tried formats using - , paranthesis, spaces, entering the country code in the first field etc etc.... nothing worked. Astonishingly the number for another phone, defined earlier, works (e.g. I can remote lock the phone), but when I try to edit (formally) and save the same number by new, I get the same error message. --> Can anybody help me how to enter /correct phone numbers in the WSA console? (there are two entry fields: when do I have to use the first filed?
I have a handful of users on Mobile Protection, only two of whom have an iOS device. In the portal, the iOS devices go amber and report "WebRoot iOS agent is not running". The app on the phone, however, reports the phone is protected and all is okay. According to WebRoot support, after a period of time, iOS will stop the app from communicating, presumably for performance or battery life considerations. Even then, the app appears to be running normally on the phone. Also according to WebRoot support, when the agent is not reporting into the portal, the Scream and Location features are not available, though the other features are (Lock, Wipe, Password). The suggested remedy is to have users open the app daily, or restart the phone daily, to keep the app communicating. I view this solution as lacking, and wonder about the opinion of other WebRoot Business users on the iOS Mobile Protection agent. My clients are business owners with a lot on their plate. I
So a few weeks ago we decided to test the mobile protection on all of our companies iphone's. When I check the mobile protection, it shows that none of the phones have been checking in. Does anyone know a fix for this? None of us have installed the browser on the phones (we're all still using safari.) Any help would be appreciated.
When will I be able to reinstall the webroot I paid for on my android again?. I was tired of the battery drain and warm phone so I had to uninstall it and am now extremely dissapointed 😕. Thanks.... Joe.S.
Definitions are scheduled to update daily, but warning message occurs weekly stating that definitions are out of date. Selecting "fix this now" does update definitions properly. Manually selecting "force definitions update now" always works without a problem, just the scheduled updates do not occur. Have uninstalled Secure Anywhere Mobile Complete from Droid, rebooted Droid, downloaded clean copy (registered) from Play, reinstalled, rebooted Droid again. No change, scheduled definition updates do not occur. Thank you.
what browsers are currently supported with 'Secure Web Browsing' thanks
the one that is asking for attention does not appear to have any problems. What I see on the button is it need to be updated and scanned, both of which are taken care of, but it still shows that it needs attention. This is for my Samsung Galaxy tab 2 device, the one I just added says it is protected and shows no problems, as well as all my PC's. What needs to be done or does something have to be reset?
Hola! Quiero crear una cuenta, pero no tengo el Keycode de SecureAnywhere Complete. ¿Cómo le puedo hacer, ya que la aplicación la descargue de Play Store.
I purchased the perrpetual version of WebRoot, and I am wondering if I can now add my iPhone 5c to this plan?? If so, how do I do this??
