This post is to remind customers that Webroot will end of life Webroot Business Mobile Protection on April 15, 2020.    This change will not impact any consumer products, endpoint protection, or the BrightCloud® Mobile Security SDK used by Webroot technology partners. Only business mobile protection products will be affected.   How will this impact you?    The end of life notice for Webroot Business Mobile Protection has the following implications:   Notification:  As a follow up to the End of Life notification sent April 15, 2019, this email communication serves as a final notification of the end of life for the Webroot Business Mobile Protection product.  End of Life:  On April 15, 2020, the Webroot Business Mobile Protection product will be discontinued, and no further support will be provided. 

Hey folks, Are any of you seeing messaging in the Mobile Protection app that says "Scan out of date"? If so, would you mind posting screenshots here in the thread below?

Mobile device shuts down with a drained battery usage.  I will uninstall/reinstall to see if it still continues. Does anyone else have this issue?

When I set up my key code it is all numbers no dashes or special characters, just plain numbers. I notice when I'm setting everything up and r Teri g .y Emai, password, and key code it is putting dashes in my key code. I have tried resetting it and erasing them. No luck. I need help. Thanks!

Hi all, Having the paid Premier version. I have set scheduled scans on a weekly basis. However every 7th day I am getting a warning that it is for a week when a scan wasn't run and I have to trigger it manually. It means that even if I have set weekly scans, they are not running. Daily update of definitions works fine, just the scans are problem. I am not sure but it might be that the problem with the missing scans began since update to 2.3.1336. Any clue to resolve it? Hi,   I have installed the Free Webroot SecureAnywhere app on my Galaxy S6. All appears okay except when I go into 'Security' and then 'Secure Web Browsing' it states that there are "no problems detected" but it also says underneath that "This feature is unavailable at this time. Your device is not currently compatiblw with Webroot Secure Browsing".   Is this because of my phone (S6) or my OS (Marshmallow) or is this just not a feature currently available?   Many thanks. I have a mobiletracker com.sec.android.app.mt virus that webroot cant uninstall.  It has placed my device in critical state.

At Any given time, webroot (I have the full mobile/internet protection package) is using over 50 percent of my battery. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S4. Any ideas how to decrease the amount webroot uses or is this just something I have to live with. I've changed all native phone/android settings to minimize battery usage already.

Yesterday, both of my Android phones had foainting/transparent/Webroot banner / pop -up. I thought it was a Webroot Update Reminder.This led to a message that said “Product Tampering,,Security Risk, Download from Google Play Store.But is no Update for phones on Play. I have received mocking messages from BAs in the past that were nothing once I talked about the FBI 's ic3.gov site and here is your Proxy Address, here is what domain it is maintained in and here is what Nation you come from, here are your GPS coordinates, etc. I have opened a Support Ticket with WB. How do I get rid of this floating icon if everything is okay ? I am VERY security  Cautious!Finally, what is everyone's opinion on WB's VPN ? I do not use a router or modem to get WI-FI and I may try to use a third party route to get Ethernet.Thank you ...

I can log on to Webroot and see my devices ( I am Premire). I have a device stolen and need to wipe completely. It shows the stolen device on WR website as needing attention ( 'update scan' but it has been stolen in country with limited wifi so could not acton this. I am now back in UK and need to wipe mobile. I cannot see how to do this from website; there are no intructions under 'Activites' or anywhere else I can find on website?   Please help as i need to wipe phone ASAP!!   Regards

Webroot found Mobile Tracker (com.sec.android.app.mt) on my phone and considers it to be a virus.From previous posts, I have told it to ignore it, but it turns up every time WR scans my phone. My understanding id this is a system app? Looks like WR has known abouut it for a while, say 2014. Has this been resolved or is it a new occurence?

I got the app from the app store for kindle fire on my new Kindle Fire HD.  It installed fine, but everytime I go to open it, it says it "stopped".  In the reviews for the app, it works fine for some people but others have my problem. Anybody know what to do?

Question why is it that your mobile antivirus does not scan inside zip files like most other mobile antivirus?

Every few hours, my Galaxy Note8 will have an pop up for Tiktok covering my entire screen.  I've removed the app from the phone, but this ad keeps popping up. How do I get rid of it? I'm sure it's tracking data of some sort.   I have run a scan.   I never had a tiktok acoo0unt, so I'm not sure why this ad is live.
