QuestionWhen I try to log in with my email address, password, and keycode its giving me an error saying "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." What do I do now? AnswerIs the Device Online? If Webroot cannot connect to the internet at all when entering your username and password, it may misinterpret the lack of connectivity as an indication that your username or password is incorrect. Please open a browser and go to a new page to see if you have internet connectivity. If not, please troubleshoot your device's internet connectivity issue first. Webroot cannot reach out to our servers if your device cannot connect to the internet. Pre-Filled Email AddressThe number one cause for this issue is that the OS pre-fills the Google Account email address, but the user's email is a different email address. For example, on the phone, I might be logged in as myname@gmail.com, but my Webroot account is under myname@hotmail.com. On the
Good afternoon, I just installed Webroot on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. As part of the set up I wanted to set up the password and set WR as a device administrator. The webroot set up keeps telling me the device administrator is in an unsafe status. When I click on the fix button it takes me back to set up screen and I end up going into the loop seeing the same thing. When I go to the kindles settings page it will not let me select Webroot as an administrator, it shows up under the administrator section but is not selected. Any idea how to fix this so I can lock down the system with a password? Thanks
I need assistance. I've been running Webroot on my android phone for over a year and have never received a threat notification until today. Antivirus scan detects: Application Threat - Device Management - com.mediatek.dm. When I click on Webroot to remove this app, Webroot responds with: UNSUCCESSFULL. Metro PCS is my mobil phone carrier. In the past couple weeks, MetroPCS updated their system app to include an update with Data Maximizer. This app update is supposed to manage my music & video data transmission more efficiently to keep my 4G usage lower. When I go into my phone's application menu and locate the app for Device Management com.mediatek.dm, I have clicked on STOP; I'm not offered the choice to DISABLE. The Webroot scan continues to show the High Risk threat, when I run removal, it continues to respond: Unsuccessfull. Webroot states that the threat is Trojan. Perhaps, Webrrot is observing the MetroPCs performing Data Maximizer
I'm sorry. I just purchased a Kindle Fire 9th Generation and trying to get the FREE Webroot SecureAnywhere App. The problem is that it isn't listed in the app section after a search - only the $15 one is listed although I see "2 results" after the search under Apps & Games but just the $15 appears.. I read as many articles about this in the community and would please like some easy to follow guidance for a dummy like me. Thanks,
I have added Webroot to my Android phone. We've purchased a second and cannot seem to install on second phone by way of webroot console. Could you tell me how to go about installing on second phone? Thanks
QuestionWill Webroot work on a Kindle Fire HD? AnswerYes, however Amazon made a change in a recent update to the Kindle Fire HD, which prevents Device Administrator from being enabled for 3rd party applications. The Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile app requires Device Administrator to use Lost Device Protection. Due to the limitations imposed by the device manufacturer, some normal app features, such as Wipe and password protection during uninstallation, may not function correctly.
I use a 4-digit PIN to unlock my tablet. It was fine last night, this morning it won’t unlock. It’s a Samsung Galaxy TAB A
I have my first virus in my nexus: android.trojan.gen in com.android.basicssmsreceiver Impossible to delete. So I thought, ofcourse, now I need the premium version. Downloaded and paid. But no, still impossible te remove. How do I do this?
See pic of company GameSir's list of permissions. They advertise access to thousands of games when you buy their Android game controller but they dont advertise that you have to give their app permission to basically be a virus for access to all their best game features. How is this legal? Consumer Affairs time? See pic

Anyone know why I can't scan as it just keeps saying "preparing to scan?
Webroot is actively working to address the issues with the Webroot Mobile Security & Antivirus app and again apologizes for any inconvenience you may be experiencing. So far, our QA testing indicates the 5.5.5 beta version shows improved app performance and reduces device resource usage significantly. We want to release an update as soon as possible but we have yet to complete a full QA cycle. This is where you can help. If you're able, please head over to our beta signup page to request access. After completing the steps, you'll be able to download one of the beta builds as we'd love to hear your feedback while we continue our internal dev and QA work. Again, this isn't mandatory nor the official release but receiving real-world feedback will greatly expedite the official update.
Webroot failed to update its threat definition. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. You can continue your scan with the current definition set or cancel. Hey there everyone, I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to make sense of the other answers so I'm just going to post because for the life of me the steps on the older post make zero sense to me so someone please help! I have a Galaxy S8 and installed the mobile security app for Webroot but I'm getting this, shown in the picture, when I have a code that has been entered and activated. So my question is why is my phone not compatible?
I have 2 questions: First, I was able to download the SecureWeb app on my iPhone 6 no problem. However, it won't allow me to sign in. When I click on "sign in" it takes me to the Webroot website, where I sign in. But the app tells me I am not signed in. How can I sign into the app itself? I am so confused. Second, there appears to be two different apps in the Apple app store for Webroot: SecureWeb, and another one called WiFi Security. What is the difference? In any case, I can't log into either app successfully. Thanks!

I am trying to add WebRoot SecureAnywhere Mobile to my Kindle Fire HD tablet. I found the WebRoot software in the Kindle Store, downloaded and installed a version (and think I installed the correct version). It installed OK. Then when I clicked on the App, it prompted for my account's email address, password, and the SecureAnywhere Complete Keycode to complete the installation and register it to my WebRoot account. So I entered my email address and password for my account OK. When I tried entering the SecureAnywhere Complete Keycode, the soft keyboard would only allow me to enter capital letters, numbers, and special characters, but NO lower case. After keying in my entire SecureAnywhere Complete Keycode and hitting the Done key, it is just sitting there highlighting the SecureAnywhere Complete Keycode field and leaving the Login to Account button shaded. I tried resetting my SecureAnywhere Complete Keycode for my WebRoot account to use all C
