I am having trouble trying to view my security cameras on my mobile phones. Following the setup instructions, I have to port forward and allow the External IP through a port. The Webroot firewall will not allow the ports to be seen. Help.
This isn't in order because I can't remember the order 1) Webroot had a pop up that covered half my screen saying something about some program. The problem is that it popped up and went away so fast I couldn't read it. I think it said facebook. I don't use facebook. 2) I get pop ups in the lower right corner. They're small and I never get to read them. 3) Apparently something called lodctr.exe keeps trying to install something every time I log in but I was just notified of this a while ago, a good while AFTER logging in. 4) There are no logs of any of this. Why don't you save logs of this crap so I can go and see what happened? 5) I have the program set to not fade messages out and to not force non critical messages into background, yet I do not get to read these messages. Why? 6) Malwarebytes pro now takes forever to start up after logging in. This is after an update caused it to have corrupted files and I had to reload it. 7) I cannot play audio CD's. Media play freezes up when I try
I have just installed WEbroot secureanywhere. Previously I have had malware or malicious bug randomly make my screen go blue and my PC shut down..how can I use this Webroot to get rid of it or check it? Thank you

Hi, I'm planning on upgrading my mac to OSX Mavericks. However I wanted to make sure Webroot for mac was compatible. The Webroot system requirements webpage for mac only includes Mountain Lion and Lion. Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.
How do I change the scan settings to include an external data drive?
Using Webroot V9.0.28.48 Windows 10 2004 and Google Chrome latest version. I have noticed if I click on access web console or Get customer support from the webroot interface nothing happens, the webpage no longer opens. If I shut down webroot and restart without restarting my pc it works. Also if I change the windows default browser to another all works fine. Anyone else able to replicate this issue?
Hi. Because I had to clean up a couple of malware infections on my teenager's PC last year, I swtiched AV suppliers after reading PC Mag's reviews. I decided that since WebRoot SecureAnywhere plays nice with other products to couple Norton 360 together with WebRoot SA as a two layer defense for that teenage PC. Thus far, I can report good results as he's said WebRoot has blocked at least 2 downloads of game mods which infected his buddies systems. I also excluded webroot from Norton 360 and vice versa and followed the pages posted about tuning webroot. http://malwaretips.com/Thread-How-to-setup-Webroot-SA-alongside-another-Antivirus However, periodically (about every week or two) Norton 360 issues a message pop-up saying it has detected an incompatible product and do you want to remove it. Any thoughts on this or how to make Norton really stop flagging WebRoot? I've told him to just cancel out of it and so far it has left WebRoot alone but I'd like to really make it stop
I no longer find Webroot to scan downloaded individual files using the right click context menu since installing Webroot . SecureAnywhere.. I am using Windows Is there a work around?
I just realized that Webroot no longer analyzes my Internet searches no matter the search engine. Previously, a checkmark used to appear next to the results e.g. Green, Red, etc. but now I don't see anything. Has this feature been removed from the program? -- Robert
All of a sudden, within either Google Chrome or Firefox, I cannot log on to the Webroot Password manager (Icon within the browser) and thus passwords for all my sites cannot be seen. On each attempt I get the message "invalid password". The email account is not problematic. What makes this frustrating is that the very same email and password gets me into the Webroot console (website) without any problem at all. It just seems that the password manager within a webpage does not seem to be communicating with the webroot site to give me valid access. I have uninstalled Webroot Secure Anywhere as well as Google Chrome and reinstalled fresh copies to no avail. Any hints as to what is happening? I have not changed any settings at all so it is one big mystery. thanks!
I have 2 strange startup entries called Webroot Installer. I have had WSA installed for over a week now. Can these be removed? What are there location in the registry?
Thank you everyone for making us aware of your Backup & Sync issues. Edit: Thank you all for providing the useful information regarding your Backup & Sync transitions. At this time, if you have received a message saying that your transition is complete, you should now be able to access and use the Backup & Sync feature through the program and within your MyWebroot Account as intended. If however, your migration has completed but you are still experiencing Backup & Sync issues, please Open a Support Ticket so our support team (who are working very closely with developers and the QA Team) can investigate your case on an individual basis. Alternatively, if you are a new Webroot customer and you are experiencing Backup & Sync issues, please follow the aforementioned link to open a support ticket. Edit 11/15/2012: Backup & Sync transitions should now be complete. If you are experienceing any issues with the new solution and with new
I’ve put a question in to support but they are a bit slow at the moment so I wondered if anyone has an idea to solve a problem. Webroot was working fine when I switched off the PC. When booted up the next day I noticed the webroot shortcut was missing and my sync icons were gone. The program is still in the program list but will not open.I decided to uninstall for a fresh install. It will not uninstall. Using standard uninstall I get the message “It is necessary to log in as an administrator to access this feature”.I have now tried every other way I could find on the web in normal and safe mode. None will uninstall. Any ideas? Thanks
I have Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete. My PC is protected through the account and I had an Android mobile device protected through the account. My Android mobile device needed to be replaced, so I had to re-upload the Webroot to the new device (also Android). This was done successfully and everything was fine. Then there was an issue with the new mobile device and it needed to be reset. I reinstalled Webroot on the new device and went to finish activating it, and it told me this could not be completed because the device was already being processed. So I deleted the mobile device from my account, un/re-installed the Webroot app, and reset the password. The app is working fine on the phone now, but my account will not acknowledge the mobile device. I've restarted the phone, and re-logged in to the account multiple times to no avail.
I'm embarassed to even ask this question -- but can somone please tell me why a checkmark keeps appearing in the Disable Script Debugging box (Tools/Internet Options/Advanced)? I clear the box, click Apply, and the checkmark keeps coming back. Plus IE is really, really slow. I tried searching MS for a solution and can't find anything. I recall having this problem a long time ago, but I am completely lost in the fog now. Thanks to all. PK
I'm gathering these don't involve viruses as such? That's why I'm asking.
Running Webroot Complete with Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. I just noticed that Task Manager shows 2 Webroot processes running (WRSA and WRSVC) and both are described as 32 bit. I thought Webroot had native 64 bit support. Can someone explain this?
No support for Windows 10 and yes, I know they do not support new OS until they are released to the public. Apps for W10 are supposed to be compatible if they are compatible with earlier versions Windows... Even at this early stage. WRSC was compatible with Windows 10 9860 but not 9879... Hum, wonder what changed.

My Laptop upon startup keeps asking me to install wrsa.exe pubisher unknow, should I install or block it ?
So I tried to launch Game Stock Car 2013 Extreme and I get this error message: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018). Click OK to close the application. I had no idea what was causing this to happen. I had just finished spending several hours reinstalling a racing simulator game along with about 30 gigs of modified tracks, car skins and just a ton of modified files, so reinstalling the game was the last thing I going to attempt to do to try to remedy this error. I decided to install a second clean copy of the game into a different directory and when I tried to launch that game - the same error popped up. I tried researching the error, but I found no helpful information at all. I almost paid a lot of money for some error fixing scam program. I decided to start to end process on all other applications that were currently running and each time I ended process on an application I would try launching the game and the error kept popping up - until I ended process on W
Everything was fine for me running Webroot Antivirus until recently I experienced weird issue having the app closing my other program even though these program was added to the exception list in real-time shield. Since September 19 my Minergate v6.5 64bit for Win 10 application (found at https://minergate.com/downloads/gui) is automatically shut down by the Antivirus. This application is used for crypto currency mining and has been recently detected as a thread even there in no virus in it. I have allowed the Minegate.exe in real time shield and it is no longer detected as a thread however Webroot is closing Minergate automatically after couple of seconds. Uninstalling web-root solves this issue> I installed McAfee antivirus and confirmed that it does not causes this problem. Also I tried another PC using Webroot and have the same problem. My ticket is open with Support without any response which is very frustrating. Anyone has similar issues with this Antivirus?:@
I have installed wsa complete in two of my PCs. But only one appear in my webconsole. I try reinstalling it in other. But still it does not appear.
