Hi,
My wife got a PC at bestbuy last year and got webroot to protect it. We got it through bestbuy, but we got a cd for installation with a key code. Well, it expired today. She clicked on the renew button and paid, etc. got the email and followed instructions for existing webroot customers, cut and pasted and activated the new key code. It immediately did a scan of the system, but when that was done, they main screen of the webroot program still shows as expired. Any ideas on why or how to fix this?
Thanks!

When there is no credit card on file for the renewal, and the software has expired, it can be 24 to 48 hours before the renewal goes through. Do not worry though, while it shows expired there is a functional 30 day grace period for paying for the renewal, so you are still protected.
The difference between 24 and 48 hours depends on the time of day you called in to provide payment. The renewals are run in a single daily batch. If your wife called in the morning, it will probably renew tonight. If she called in the afternoon, it may be tomorrow night instead.
