Anyway to stop WR from detecting C++ files being built?

I'm having a lot of issues with WR constantly freaking out whenever I try and build a c++ file. The file gets saved as a .exe so I understand why it would think its a problem but is there any way to unblock a folder or make WR ignore a file? The prompt which pops up when a "threat" is detected has the option to allow which works only until I rebuild the file.

Any help would be great because this is really annoying.

Hello Newhb,

Welcome to the Community!

You might need to manually remove from quarantine and whitlist a file locally. Here's a Knowledge Base Article for this.

Here's a USER GUIDE that can help also You can also submit a file here.

If you have problems you can always submit a Support Ticket free of charge with a Subscription.

Hope this helps! @ can you add to this as well?

Best Regards,

@

Please submit a Support Ticket for this so that we can determine what is causing the issues with your C++ files, correct any issues, and add to our whitelists to prevent this from happening.

Thanks,

-Dan
