Copy paste does not work in SQLyog unitill an exception is given specifially. You can try reproducing this with the community edition available here: https://code.google.com/p/sqlyog/downloads/list

Was your issue resolved by Support whitelisting some files, as Pegas suggested, or do you need any more assistance? On copy/paste issues, it is helpful to know if you are using the keyboard shortcut or commands issued with the mouse.
