Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Home

Trying to install an upgrade to TrendMicro Anti-virus + 2015.  Getting msg: incompatible software with Webroot and asks to OK removing it so upgrade can continue.  What would you suggest?

  I started a thread not long ago on what I felt was Webroot's heavy handed treatment for paid licenses about to expire. In a nutshell, at the 30 day from expiration date, my copies of Webroot were subjected to permanent visual changes and notification popups just to let me know of my soon to expire status.   Contacting customer support led to the aknowledgement from Webroot that this was "by design".:@  To my satisfaction though, my soon to expire license was merged with a new one I had purchased last year and everything went back to normal for me.   But now I am experiencing a weekly email from Webroot letting me know that my old license is about to expire.:@   Which brings me to this new thread.   Maybe its just me, but I think Webroot should not subject its paying customers to this annoying renewal extravaganza overkill. I just renewed my script and its not working. still telling me to renew. And I rebooted as well.

  My subscription is renewed, but why does it say "expired" under My Account. How do I know if the scan is working if subscription is posted as expired?  

dllhost.exe*32 COM surrogate  is consuming most/100% of my CPU--Must delete soon--HOW??

Trying to book rooms in Las Vegas via "http://www.totalrewards.com".  The booking site for many of the top hotels.  Each time I get blocked.  Tried it on twpo different machines.  Same result?  Help.   

I have been trying to view the Execution History.  However, after 8 hours it is still loading.  What can I do?

Normal Webroot scans has not pick up the com Surrogate DLLHOST issue which come from a virus of some sorts.  Does anyone know of a fix?

I used to have a second PC protected. I sold that computer and removed it from the protection, now I have another new laptop and want to add. How do I do so? I can't find it in the Webroot control panel.

A game I play uses (URL Removed pending Moderator Review) but webroot stops it from running and from installing/updating...  any way you guys can update your definitions?

I have talked with the bank's IT folks and tried several browser setting changes, nothing has worked.  They are convinced it's a Webroot setting.  Any ideas which one??

Computer keeps shutting down.  Microsoft people tell it's probably infected but Webroot scan said no threats.  I get a  blue screen.  Someplace I read the Ituns and Apple could cause this. Any suggestions?

The attachment is a .jpg from an unexpected source.  If I can't check it in the email, what would the best procedure; save .jpg to external USB hard drive and check drive with webroot?

I have had reboot for 2 yrs now, it had been working fine..but now I have a virus or malware that reboot let in or hasn't been able to remove or quaranteen. My computer is slow and it took over my internet home page "sweetpaks" i went to the settings and deleted it there and I checked under programs and its not there.  But it seems to keep coming back.  Help!!

Being pestered by t.cttsrv malware....why doesn't Webroot take care of this for me?  

Hi, I am Corliss, I got Web Root because I am computer illiterate.  

I recently installed Windows 7 Pro from an XP Professional machine.  It seem that a great number of scripts on running a great deal (as my disk acess light is either solidly on or quickly blinking) - and I would like to be able to see what scripts are running - what process started the script - AND be able to stop specific scripts from running - and maybe even prevent them from every running.   EDIT: Email removed to protect users privacy.
