Where did you purchase your software?  To be honest, I am going to make an assumption that it was purchased from Best Buy.  If so, please read on, and if I am wrong please let me know!
 
Best Buy WSA Subscription Software copies activate upon sale.  You can identify if your copy is a Best Buy Subscription by looking at the lower left hand corner of the box's back.  If there is a Best Buy Serial Number, it is a Best Buy Subscription.  For example: If you purchased a one year subscription and waited 3 months to install it, you will have 9 months remaining.
 
Best Buy often provides trial copies:  It is quite the norm for Best Buy to provide a 6 month trial subscription with the purchase of any compatible computing device.  Again, this 6 month trial begins at the time of sale.
