Why is Internet Explorer no long storing my user name & passwords on frequent sites?

Since purchasing Webroot SecureAnywhre - Internet Security Plus, Internet Explorer is not saving my user names or passwords to sites I frequent often.  I would prefer to continue the way I have been doing versus setting up a new system through the Identity or password portals by Webroot at this time.  It's just too much trouble to change up my system at this time and I don't want to have to keep entering my usernames and passwords at this time.  What do I turn off to in order to store my usernames & passwords directly through IE?

Thanks

Hi Racinrhonda

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If you do not want to use the Password Manager you can just not set it up...in other words if you have not yet set it up or activated it then do not...but if you have then just do not login to it when you open your browser, i.e., do not click on the Green 'W' icon in the toolbar and enter your credentials...until you do the Password Manager is not active for the browser session you are in.

EDIT: In terms of IE not saving your credentials entered please see this MS article on the subject which may provide you with some useful avenues to explore to resolve the issue.

Thank you - your suggestion of going to IE Tools, Internet Options . . . worked.  I guess the software unconfigured this because it was set to do this prior to download.  I appreciate your help
