Hello,

I would like to have assistance regarding the webroot Universal Reporter tool.

My focus is to automate webroot emails with all the information automated but with my design. At the moment, I am in a testing phase where the email is configured, but it doesn't send anything automatically. When I click on "run reporting" in the "Run Reports" tab, it only gives me the PDF file and not via email.

Could someone help me configure the automation of email sending?

Best regards,

António Correia

Hello Antonio,

Thanks for reaching out.

Two steps you can do to check is :

1.Ensure you email address is added to the email addresses in the Sites Tab under the Customer Email column.

Emails need to be separated by a semicolon.

2.Test your connection under the Email server settings tab after selecting Outlook or SMTP

I have sent you a more detailed reply via email.

Please do let us know if this helps with the issue.

Thanks,

Aqil

Hello, how are you?

First of all, thank you very much for your response!

I have been running some tests, and at this moment, I am able to send the reports via email.

However, there is a problem.
The issue lies with the templates. It is only possible to export or send them via email using one template, which is the "Endpoint: List" template.

All the other templates are marked as failed.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
António Correia

Hello Antonio,

Thanks for the quick response.

Can you email me the log file for the run so I can take a deeper look.

Thanks

Aqil

Thanks Antonio for the log file.

It shows a timeout error when trying to get the data for the DNS Blocked reports and as a result the report generation then fails. Due to the volume of data and traffic involved on the associated servers this can happen intermittently.

This is a known issue which we are actively working on to resolve with the next release of Universal Reporter this year.

Please do reach out if there any further queries.

Thanks,

Aqil
