We've mentioned before that we can't make the formula itself public, since it would be easier to game the system. 😉 That would be giving away too much!



What we can say is that there is more to it than post counts. It could include anything that is trackable on the community, such as post count, kudos, accepted solutions, length of membership, tagging, TKB authorship, and ideas, just to name a few possible things that could be included in the ranking metrics. The ranking system is something that evolves over time too, growing as the community itself grows, with new ranks being added as necessary.
