Amit, you know the old good movie Top Gun? You surely do.
There is a scene where the commander of the aircraft carrier announces Tom Cruise that he was chosen to undergo training in the elite fighters school and the commander emphatically states "God preserve us!"
The punch line of his exclamation is that he knows that there is no better and FASTER fighter than "Maverick". So his sentence is in fact meant as the best appreciation and praise.
Therefore, in the same spirit I proclaim to you "God preserve us"! :D
