Join the WiFi Security Beta!
Webroot is introducing a new product to our award-winning lineup of security products: Webroot WiFi Security. As a virtual private network (VPN) app, Webroot WiFi Security will help protect users on any device or network, especially unsecured public WiFi.
Like all our products, this latest addition to the Webroot family will include advanced Webroot BrightCloud Threat Intelligence to provide the most robust VPN service on the market and the most comprehensive, up-to-the-minute protection for our customers.
What does a VPN do?
A VPN protects your actual connection to the internet. Think of browsing the web like a road trip. If you’re driving on the open road, anyone watching could see where you went, how you got there, where you stopped on the way, and more.
But if you drove the whole way through your own PRIVATE system of tunnels that no one else could use, then nobody could spy on you. That’s what Webroot WiFi Security does. It stops cybercriminals and other peeping toms from spying at everything you do on the web, so they can’t track or intercept your data.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the beta! I wanted to close the loop on this thread to let you know that for the time being, we will not be adding any additional beta members to this group.
In the future, we may open this back up again and at that time (if you've requested to join) you will gain access to the WiFi Security beta program.
Again, thank you so much for participating and sharing your feedback. For now we will be turning commenting off on this post.
Thanks again,
Drew
