HMP was included as by default, it does a scan at startup - therefore, given the methodology of this assessment, it is 100% legit that it schould be included in the cohort.

Hope this clears up any issues you may have.

Best regards, and merry Christmas to all.

Well done to all our friends at Webroot for this great result!

Best regards,

Chris.

The funny part is Hitman Pro has no Realtime Shield it only scans On-Demand or you can set to scan everyday so I don't know why they were added.

Sorry to be the party pooper...but what is there to whoop about...we know this and have known this for a long time...the tests have just caught up with WSA.

No, seriously...good news (even if we know that) and something that we can use with the new users as a when they come asking about how effective WSA is.

MRG Effitas 360 Assessment Q3 2014
Posted by Sveta on December 23, 2014 in Tests

Excerpt;
Out of fifteen products we tested, only four managed to meet the performance specifications to attain our Q3 -2014-360 certification award, these being Kaspersky Internet Security and Eset Smart Security, SurfRight, Hitman Pro, Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus.
All other security application failed the test in that they were unable to detect the malware and/or remediate the system even after the third reboot at the end of the twenty four hour period
