Social media is not all about having fun. Or starting a revolution for that matter.

You may go for Twitter if you want to find out the latest news and choose Facebook to stay up-to-date with your friends’ latest interests.

But when we turn to our LinkedIn account, we try to keep things serious and professional. Our LinkedIn account is a network of people that worked with us, or with whom we may want to work or collaborate at some moment in the future.

And even if we keep it pro on our LinkedIn account, we still need to address privacy and security aspects. And this is even more important than on the other less “serious” channels.
