Adobe's Flash software is regularly updated to remove flaws that cyber-thieves exploit

 

Adobe Systems has said that it plans to phase out its Flash Player plug-in by the end of 2020.

 

The technology was once one of the most widely used ways for people to watch video clips and play games online.

 

But it also attracted much criticism, particularly as flaws in its code meant it became a popular way for hackers to infect computers.

Well, I will believe that as and when it happens...LOL. HAve they not made that announcement previously only to renege/backtrack on it shortly afterwards?
I would imagine that if this does come true a lot of people will be breathing a sigh of relief.


The security world will be happier and customers will be less vulnerable. PLEASE DO THIS!

Was browsing Krebs and came across this bit of joyous news, one can only hope it finally comes true, flash is truly awful.
