Biohackers attempting to see into the near IR spectrum

This is a pretty cool experiment - their theory is that by removing A1 from their diet and replacing it with A2, that they'll increase vision sensitivity in the near infrared range.  As a student of psyhophysics and vision, this is right up my alley 🙂  I also had no idea about experiment.com which is a Kickstarter type site, but for science experiments.  Check out the article here, and the reddit discussion here.
