Hello there, welcome to the Webroot Community!
The computer locking up when NOT in Safe Mode can be caused by more things than I could remember to mention most likely. Among the possible causes:
When the computer locks up, does it give you ANY indication at all or any error message? Does it give any error message on reboot?
One thing that might help if this is a software problem, depending on how long this problem has been going on, is to try to do a 'rollback' to a recent restore point. (NOTE: Be careful here, I do NOT mean a full restore back to original system configuration. When doing a restore, read CAREFULLY and if anything is mentioned about losing your data or files, you probably have the WRONG option.
I hope this helps a little bit!
