Made a noticeable difference for me. filehippo>>latest software news>>Windows10 Updates: Hello Night Mode. Rumors that Microsoft may be finally taking all this blue and bright white seriously. Sure hope so. I wish they would go green as it is so much more relaxing on the eyes.

Personally I don't like it and used it for one evening Yuck. I have to wear Computer Glasses (Special Trifocal Glasses) and they have a special coating that blocks the bad Blue Light and they work very well for the same effect and I find my eyes don't get so sore looking at the screen for hours on end at times. :D

Your link is a wealth of information. So are your glasses prescription? f.lux was a great find for me and I had no clue there existed protective eyeware. This is all good stuff. I'm amazed.:S
Hi BlazeTen
Hope that you are well?
Have been using f.lux for a while now and would not be without it. The default calibration is fine for me but the fact that one can customise it quite a bit to suit is really nice.

Thanks for the feedback there ?. This is my third day and night using it and right now it's all I have. I'm going to prod ? for more details of his TriFocals. The link he posted is an education for me. For the moment, I'm like you, I won't be without it either...unless something better comes my way.:D
Yes they are but only for reading! Now it's clear on the top (No prescription) and the middle is a largest area with mid range (Computer and other small devices) and the bottom for reading.@ wrote:

Thanks for posting this, BlazeTen. I hadn't heard of this until now. I tried it for a short bit last night. I like how it's calibrated for my location. It sure beats having to manually adjust the monitor settings. Time will tell if I continue with it. I have heard of the protective glasses, too. I will have to look into those as well. I also use dark themes whenever possible.
