Is your PC freezing up when using your browser IE?

 

 

 I would recommend that you review this thread over at the MS Support Forums.  It relates to IE9 but should still be pertinent today in terms of the general gist as to what and what to do.

 

You could also try the following as it has apparently work in some cases:

 

1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

2. Check the boxes for "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)".

3. Uncheck the box for "Display a notification about every script error".

4. Click Apply, close and then reopen IE

 

Also if this relates to Internet Explorer the you could use another browser as well.
