Build 10080 adds support for several new devices.

 

 

Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 last week with support for plenty of new phone models, including Lumia 930 and Lumia Icon, so many more users are now eligible for the update.

 

The first build of Windows 10 for phones, released on February 12, worked on only six different models, but many turned to a third-party hack to install it on pretty much any Windows Phone model out there.

Great article and I appreciate you posting it. However with Windows only being a Beta and the always present chance of updating the phone and it causing an issue, you could end up with a very expensive paperweight. Not sure anyone remembers when Gingerbread came ot and after rooting the phone many people found a white screen and nothing else. Then the flashing of the ROM became a huge ordeal which was 50/50 success rate.

 

I realize this is an extreme example but the fear is there and is very real in that this "Beta" could bot only cause huge restore work but it very likely could void the warranty if the Manufacture isn't willing to support a reflash of the original ROM.
