macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16 share (among other new features) Stage Manager. According to Apple, the feature gives users a new way to stay focused on the task in front of them while switching between apps and windows.

I’m still getting used to this change in organising my screen and apps but so far it’s been good once you get used to it.


Hmmmm, not sure I see this as an advantage. I lay out my windows in Spaces and love how well that works. This looks like it might get annoying before being useful. But I’ll give it a shot. This only works on M1 or M2 devices, right?

In my opinion I think this is an alternative as opposed to a ‘NEW’ feature.

It’ll be another of those ‘Marmite’ features Apple release where you either love it or hate it!
