I have anExcel Spreadsheet 30,000 lines, 20 columns. It refuses to insert a new line. help

I have anExcel Spreadsheet 30,000 lines, 20 columns. When I try to insert a new line it tells it it would take a very long time to do so and do I still want to do it? I say Yes, then it says, Sorry, can't do that. arghh
What do I need to do?

I don't think you're hitting up against the limit of number of rows, unless you're on a very old version of Excel.  You might be running out of memory on your computer though, if it is having trouble loading the whole sheet into memory.  What are the specs of the computer?  Also, can you post the exact error message you are getting?  That will help us do some research online to see if anyone else is getting the problem.
