Not bad, paying for 75 / 75.
Whatever ? LOLs:D I could upgrade but I am not paying those prices!
I just looked up the prices of Time Warner. Looks like they max out at 50 mp/s just like Cox Cable down here. I have everything in a bundle with Verizon. Telephone, HD TV and Internet. For 75 / 75 the original cost is $60.00 a month. I get a discount at $45.00 a month.@ wrote:

Wow guys... Blow up my email box much? Installing the new hardware here at my apartment. Please stand by.
Hi ?,
I called Time Warner and asked to see how much it would cost for an upgrade from Turbo Speed to Extreme. So it costs me 5 more dollars to double my upload speed and boost the downloads. I pay 65$ a month just for the internet, we used to have the phone, TV, and internet for 185$ So we stopped the home phone and got Direct TV now for 50$ a month. I took so long to answer because I had to reset my Modem for the Extreme internet.Besides talking to cutomer service!
Here is what I have now.Whoohoo!:D

More speed is good.
Okay, I installed the lasers and stuff and broke the speed test until I went into the computer and changed the SFP+ link to 20% of its full capacity. So I took the speed test with the SPF at 20% nd set it back to full speed thereafter and have a nice day. 😛 XD

Just to put this into perspective for any members who are not too old to remember. When one of the Service Packs came out for XP I downloaded it over the internet and it was a whopping 900MB (I think it was something like but not 100% sure), it took me 9 hours to download it. Things have changed a lot since then.
Remember the 56k modem and older? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modem LOL@ wrote:

10 Gbps in fact, but the speed test harfs at that. Found out I needed to cut it down to two on the computer itself to make the speedtest not return a zero. https://business.comcast.com/ethernet/products/dedicated-internet
It's nice to have more lasers in my computer. 😛 XD
56k? You younglings! I started off on a 1200 baud modem (Not 300 at least...) and checking alllllll the phone numbers for BBSes in the phone book to make sure I didn't get charged long distance.
When I was an IRC operator on DALnet and DoS attacks were much less-bad back then but still wiped out the T1 line the local ISPs used, I'd dial in to a shell-only connection on a local ISP, then shell from there to a shell-only connection on Prodigy and run PPPD. In retrospect, I don't think they had ANY clue what I was doing and likely would not have been thrilled if they'd realized the implications. It worked well though and in a time of $15 a month average, doing that for $10 was great.

Wow...I like!
That is some 17 times faster download than the best I can get in my locality...perhaps I should move to Canada for a faster online experience...thatis assuming that they would allow this old goat in...;)

Here's a Speedtest from this morning at the Office. I'd like to think the decrease in speed since Nic's post was from how much we've grown since then :catwink:
I get about 13Mb/s at my Place since it's zoned as a "Commercial Address" and I have to have CenturyLink Business:catsad:
A little better today! 😃 I just wish they had there upload higher.
