BY SANJEEV KRISHNAN · ON JULY 7, 2014 When it comes to tablets, there is no many versions from the Korean giant LG but it certainly has a few devices out there called G pad and recently the company announced its largest of all LG G Pad 10.1 which is a mid-end device. The tablet is finally making its way to global market starting in the US, and to be followed by Europe, Asia and Latin America later this month. The tablet is certainly not a high-end one but that is the main selling point of the device as it can be affordable to some other devices out there. The tablet with round corners has a nice form factor but when it comes to specs, it may not be as attractive as other devices out there if you want more power to experience some juice and high-end games. In terms of specs, the LG G Pad 10.1 offers a 10.1 1280×800 HD screen that is still not a Full HD screen but manages to offer an HD experience. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is relatively low and the tablet packs only 1GB of RAM that should be enough for smooth operation on the screen though, but don’t expect high-end experience. The tablet only has 16GB of internal storage so that there is limit to games and other media you could store on the device. Interestingly, LG has made sure you don’t have to often recharge the device by packing a massive 8000mAh battery inside which should offer hour and hours of battery life for both gaming and using other media features.
