Eagle-eyed Windows 7 users are wondering what's up with KB 2952664, an "important" patch that arrived unannounced just a few hours ago. The short answer: Nobody seems to know much about it -- or at least the ones who do aren't talking publicly.

It seems TH saw it also, but it was a pretty busy day yesterday and so the post was 'buried' pretty quickly. Apparently it has to do with making upgrading to 8.1...
