Hello ?,
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
Yes I would because Webroot is all you need and with MacAfee uninstalled you won't use up all your system resources or bog your system down. Even though Webroot can work along side most AV's without an issue.
Once Webroot is installed ..you can set it and forget about it
Please read the potential Webroot has.: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/Scanning-PC-suspiciously-fast/m-p/... also the Webroot WIN Cloud does all the work not your PC: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php
If you have problems uninstalling MCAfee give us a holler.
Here is the PC User Guide
Hope this helps?

Hi Dogduck75
Welcome to the Community Forums.
It is a moot point and one that I will try to answer fairly.
Honestly, no there is no overarching reason to remove McAfee other than (i) WSA has been proven to offer better protection than McAfee, (ii) WSA byitself will be lighter on your system resources than McAfee on its own & (ii) if the first two points are accepted then why incur the drag of running both.
But McAfee and WSA will quite happily reside and work properly on the same system (WSA is designed from the ground up to do that with all major security apps)...so the decision is yours.
But IMHO opinion I would uninstall McAfee.

You certainly won't get any kudo's for mentioning that you use McAffee here on a Webroot forum. Seriously get rid of it. If you want to compare McAffee to Webroot then think of comparing Fred Flintstone to Bender from Futurama. They are sepparated by millenia
