Happy Friday! While this is not exactly "breaking news" (June 18 is considered old news by now), I'm sure you all have seen (or at least heard) of Microsoft's brand new toy, the "Surface" tablet.

 

With the Windows 8 release looming, Microsoft decided to build the tablet themselves. While not known for their hardware prowess, I must say, from a completely neutral technology-appreciating perspective, this thing looks pretty cool.
