Today comes the turn for Opera with the official confirmation of the recent rumours about the move from Presto to WebKit as the engine at the core of the browser. Furthermore Opera announced reaching the milestone of 300 million monthly users across all its browser products on phones, tablets, TVs and computers.

Please read the official announcement and interesting blog post from Haavard (developer).
If they can keep the functionality of the browser in it's current configuration, the WebKit engine will be great!

Hopefully this will help increase usage and increase add-ons.
Richard must not have a lot to say about this.
Hey Richard you had allot to say I couldn't even Quote you. :D

Lately I have been using the beta version of Firefox 19 and so far I love it. It works flawlessly with our company web portal, which is saying something.
Opera buys Skyfire

In the light of previous announcement of dropping Presto, buying Skyfire is another step forward to move WebKit also on Opera Mobile & Mini. Hmmm, time will tell us ...
