I know in my own house, WiFi pretty much dies when the microwave is running, and I can only imagine what cheap Christmas lights would do!  At this time of year, with the lights and all sorts of new gadgets coming into the home, remember that if your WiFi suddenly has major issues to check what all is on and running that might be the cause.
Yup, saw that ealrier but to be honest have checked all of what they say and it is all really just common sense. ;)
Does it happen even when there's no source of interference between you & the wireless AP? That's deffinitely not OK. So while i'm on the community no Xmas lights here pls
Yes thanks David! Makes sense to me!:D
Well to be honest as my wife would say - and this is the truth actually, the worst cause in here of the Wi-Fi slowing or failing completely is me. Very often when I go into the other room while she is using that door wedge of the iPad variety she will lose connection. she has never commented on anything causing problems, just me.
Haha an iPad door wedge.. Almost convinced me to ask for pics 😃
At my house I must have put up 5000 Christmas lights this past weekend, inside and out. They're freakin everywhere.

But my Wi-Fi doesn't seem to be affected at all. I have a dual-band router and two WAPs, so I'm sure that helps, but I'm surprised all the lights aren't having a noticeable impact.

ps. I've started a "Go Fund Me" page to help pay for my electric bill this month...:p
