Has anyone ever received calls from IT Renovators?
They lead you to believe that they're from Windows Support and that they've been receiving error messages from my laptop indicating that it has been infected.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
From what I have surmised from some quick research is that whilst not malicious they are best avoided...there is little real information on them and one finds this when checking them over at BrightCloud:
Looks like they are quite a new outfit hence my view that they are best avoided.
If you have scanned with WSA and that has come up clean then obviously there is no issue, and even if WSA cam up with somethinga nd you had concerns as a WSA user you are entitled to free support from Webroot for malware & WSA-related matters...so no need to pay someone else in relation to that.
