Sounds like this app would be useful and as they say it can save your life. I have installed this app on my Android. I need to tell my family as well...it cannot hurt to try it.

As my daughter told me last night, coordinates work just as well BUT it depends on the circumstances.
To pin any location in the world down to just 3 words is amazing, noe just imagine IF you had no phone signal or very poor signal and someone had to go and get help somewhere else, I know I could remember 3 words a lot easier than coordinates.
