40 years later, 'Dungeons & Dragons' still inspiring gamers

Four decades before anyone took an arrow to the knee in "Skyrim," adventurers were sitting down with paper and pencil to battle fantasy monsters and explore rich, new worlds in a different kind of role-playing game.

I still remember my red original D&D box. Wish I still had it 🙂

It's hard to believe that D&D is already 40 :S 
But how nice it is to reminisce about childhood, in which D&D was present for so many years...

Somewhere I do still have the red paperback Beginners Dungeon Guide that came in that original red box.  Well worn, but still have it and several of the old hard-cover expansion guides as well
